Formal Night on the Kern	Apr 21st, 2004
After a long day on the Kern river, a nice steak house is just right. Ewings Restaurant is priced about average for a fancy restaurant--though there are more people in off-the-river clothes than in formal atire. There is life music on some weekends, and the view is unparalleled. Though the staff may not be prepared to serve a big group, they try hard and are very friendly. The food is cooked to perfection and the portions are large. A recommended stop.
