I had my first steak at the Black Steer more than 25 years ago before cholesterol free and low carb entered our vocabulary.
Over the years the Steer has managed to retain Colorado's best steaks while adapting to modern light health conscious eating. Their new menu feature lots of new choices including some wonderful fish dishes.
They have also gone no smoking and turned up the illumination so that it is a bright modern restaurant. |

The service has ALWAYS been good and the food even better. The ambience is legend and the prices are family affordable. The Chex in the salads are a favorite of mine. Simple things like that will make your dining experience memorable. |
