Seated.
15 minutes till greeted by a waitress.... ordered drinks, and another 15 minutes until served drinks; Sangria loaded with orange juice and who knows what.
Oh, and 10 minutes after that waitress comes to take order.
She takes the order for four - one of which is a prime rib, the other is a child's meal of fry and chicken tenders; how hard is that!!! An appetizer is also ordered. After we four went to the salad bar two times the waitress comes and says we have no prime rib, do you have a second choice? After this much time we needed a menu to look at. He orders, we are waiting, finally the waitress says she forgot to put in the appetizer, another 15 minutes...now I am really irritated; two tables under the same waitress, have eaten and are waiting for their check and we don't have anything. We talked to the hostess/manager she says she will take off our drinks, which is about 25.00 dollars she comes and brings a check with 17.75 off. Now dinner is here, BUT there are no chicken tenders for the child, she says they will be out soon.
....Now I get up and go back to the Hostess /manager and she starts yelling at me about how much more I want off the check, This was not an issue, I wanted to speak to the owner, who was supposed to be in the back, never cared nor showed. This woman who was out front got loud and rude.
We ate,we wanted to pay, and the check was now wrong....This hostess would not fix this problem she again started yelling at me and professed to have worked their for 7 years and didn't care how bad it all was. The other patrons could not believe her behaviour. Again I asked to speak to the owner, no show; I sat in the lobby for 10 minutes waiting to speak with him and this deplorable behaviour from one of his supposed managers. Finally I paid this in cash before I said something I would regret and left, and swore to let everyone know of this incident.. SHE SAID SHE COULD CARE LESS THIS WAS THE ONLY BAD DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.

We were in your restaurant while in Florida and enjoyed the grouper stuffed with spinach and cheese. My in-laws and we would very much like the recipe to add to our files. Nobody makes grouper here in Illinois. |
