If you want great seafood, go to Captain Joe's. The platters are awesome.
The staff are great and the service is even better. Can't wait until I go again. |

CAME FROM JACKSONVILLE FLA TO SEE MY FAMILY IN BRUNSWICK GA AND THEY WANTED TO GO TO CAPTAIN JOES. ON 17 THE SERVICE WAS OK BUT THE FOOD WAS JUST BAD. THE SOUP WAS COLD, THE FOOD WAS NOT PREPARED RIGHT, THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH SILVERWARE ON THE TABLE. THE BEST THING THAT THEY HAD WAS THE SALAD BAR. I DON'T THINK THAT I WILL BE BACK ANY TIME SOON. VERY DISAPPOINTED. |

We took the whole family. The waitress was so great with the kids. She helped us get exactly what we wanted and it was great food. We all know that older members of our family are hard to deal with but the great waitress handled them with a smile too. What a great place to eat and feel welcome. Hats off to the great soup, salad and desert bar that was included with our meal for free. Way to go Captain Joe and staff! We will be back and thanks again for a wonderful meal. |

They have a great selection of fresh seafood at reasonable prices. The steaks are cooked to order with a variety of sides such as the baked potato, fries, wonderful onion rings, and sweet potato with cinnamon butter. the salad bar is awesome, and if a favored dish is unavailable just ask one of the very attractive waitresses to get you whatever you need! It is so good I visit every time I come to town. |

Captian Joe's is a great place to go for Seafood for sure but don't underestimate their salad bar. Everything from traditional salad ingredients to crab and tuna salads is nice. When you're all done with your meal try their dessert called "Better than Sex". If you think I'm kidding about the name just ask one of the veteran waitstaff. :-) |
