This place is my Husband and I's FAVORITE place to eat. We used this as our "special outings" for b-day and anniversary. We never missed eating there on special occasions and we are terribly hurt that it is no longer open. Will somebody be taking over this and opening it back up?? Soon? Thanks - Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Coffland, Watkins Iowa |

Off the road, and nestled among the trees, sits one of the best well-hidden super clubs in Iowa. As you pull off the main road, you may catch a glimpse of the big blue neon sign in the shape of a hat. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy, which goes along way especially when you have a friendly, attentive staff.
I ordered the prime rib, which was accompanied by a side of potato and a crisp dinner salad. The prime rib was was very flavorful, and just seemed to melt in my mouth. I very well may have been the best prime rib I have ever had.
The menu included a variety of steaks, BBQ ribs, seafood and specialized entrees. Also available is a lite-fare menu. |
