The food is very good. Never had a problem. Atmosphere is lovely. Casual yet elegant. Best food for the price anywhere. One of my top 10 favorites for sure. Can't beat Al's !! |

Al's has a great atmosphere, excellent food and terrific service. You need to go and see for yourself. As far as the food being over priced, I think not. When you take your spouse or family out for a nice dinner you should be ready to pay the price for great food and service. If you want a cheap dinner then go to the Sizzler or maybe Old Country Buffett. Geez!!! |

Our party of four went to Al's day before mothers day, and the place was pretty busy. Its mostly steaks fish, or chicken. Two people at our table ordered rib-eye steak , one prime rib, and the other a shrimp salad. Total came to $120. The salad was a little skinpy for the price, but the steaks and double baked potato was good. Salad bar was pretty good also. Our waitress was strange however, almost seemed bored. |

Our first time to this restaurant,we drove nearly an hour, only to find that we had to what yet another hour past our reservation, in the cold and vastly crowded lobby, listening to, and jossled by fellow patrons with the same complaint; several leaving in disgust. When we were finally seated, our overwhelmed waitress apologized for the slow service and no explanation was offered upon inquiry.
The food was good; the prices reasonable. However, I am not sure I wish to repeat that kind of experience. |

We were hesitant to go to Al's Steak House but decided to try for ourselves. The food was FANTASTIC! The huge salad bar had a large variety and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The twice baked potato was very good. The staff was very professional and tended to our every need, even before we realized we needed it. Fair prices for a great meal. |
