American cuisine. Steaks, seafood, pasta, and a variety of other items. They advertise their prime rib. They also bring the salad bar to the table -- difficult to explain, but an interesting concept.

We were very pleased with our visit to Mountain Jack's. Despite that fact that we waited a good ten minutes before our server even introduced herself to us, the food definitely made up for it. Simply the fact that you get a cup of soup automatically with your meal is a lot more than you would expect anywhere else. And they assemble your salad at the table, so you know you are getting exactly what you want, and nothing more. Both the chicken and the steak were cooked to perfection; tender and juicy. The sizzling mushrooms and onions were exceptional, besides the fact they were cooked in a little too much grease. The prices were a little steep, but worth the quality of the food. |

This restaurant was superb. The service was mainly friendly, a few were a little snooty, which believe me, doesn't attract buisness. The waiter we had was very nice, prompt, and always there to fill our glass or make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The hostesses were a little snobby, the food was spectacular, although I couldn't eat the crab legs, the thought of them being in their shells when they were alive made me sick to my stomach. But the bread, the soup, the salad, and my mashed potatoes and the Mile High Mud Pie were all really amazing, I ate so much! We were seated near the kitchen, and although there was some noise, it wasn't like some I've been to. The decor was warm and inviting, very romantic and very ski lodge. All in all, it was a great place and a wonderful place to go out on a date. |
