If you're in the mood to eat...or have a lot of hungry mouths to feed, this is the place for you! The Ryan's Family steakhouse has gotten the "buffet style restaurant" down to a science. You wait in a (quickly moving) line to pay for you meals. You're escorted to your table. Once there, don't bother sitting down, the waitress informs you to "help yourself to the buffet" while she goes to get your drinks and hot rolls. The buffet options are plentiful! They offer a little of every type of dish (American/Mexican/Seafood/Italian/etc). Once you have your plate full, you'll return to your table to find your drinks and rolls. Now, I KNOW people say not to fill-up on the bread, but you HAVE to try one! The rolls are warm and come with packets of Honey Butter....YUM! If you find there's something you forgot to ask your waitress, there's always another waitress happy to assist you. Make certain you save room for dessert. They offer a wonderful assortment of sweets....they even provide an array of "Sugar Free" desserts. Your waitress will be happy to bring you a cup of coffee to accommodate your final course. When it's time to leave, remember, even though it's a buffet, you were still provided with the service of a waitress....you don't need to leave a percentage of the cost of the meal, but at least a buck per person. (this was a discussion my husband, friends, and I had). You and your party will be thoroughly satisfied (even your most picky eater!). You'll leave feeling the need for your favorite pair of comfy sweatpants! |
