I had taken friends out to eat at the Hilltop in Braintree. When we went we were seated at a booth, we were not asked if we wanted a table or different setting. We had to wait at least 10 minutes before a waitress came over to take our drinks then it took over 20 minutes for her to come back and take our order. She even had the gall to ask when we ordered if we had the money to pay for the lunch. That should have been the first thing to get up and walk out, but we were hungry and I wanted my meat.
When we got our order I noticed that my friends dish of seafood did not smell correct. For a half and hour I tried to get the damn waitress to tell her it was bad. She had the gall to say, "Well, it's at the end of the meal. There's nothing I can do." I was like, "What?" I was disgusted. I wrote to them and they did nothing - and I mean nothing.
Yes, I may look young, but that shouldn't matter. I was there to eat and have not gone to the Hilltop since. The food was great but if the service is horrible I will not return. I have informed most of the my friends and my business partners they no longer bring clients there either. |

My son and son both ordered steak tips, medium well and they were rare. Once our food was served the waitress never returned to our table to ask how everything was. Our numerous attempts at getting her attention were met with just one minute please. She obviously had too many tables. She was also clearing tables and returning dirty dishes to the kitchen when people were waiting for food and drinks. We use to eat there often, stopped because of the food and service and figured we would try it again. What a mistake. |

This place was ridiculously horrible. Me and my family went out to dinner today, for Mother's Day, and we definitely weren't impressed.
First off, it took 1 hour to be seated, normal I guess, but when we got seated our waitress took about 25 minutes to come over and ask for our drinks. When we finally ordered our drinks it took about 20 minutes to receive them. Then she would leave, and come back about 20 minutes later to get our food, which took (no kidding) a little over an hour to receive.
I plan on never going back there again. We were honestly there from 2 PM to 5.30 PM. It was ridiculous.
But the wonder is, I don't know why it took so long to get because the food was served in VERY small portions.
Also, my daughter asked to receive a water 3 times, and didn't get it, until she had to ask in a very stern voice to receive it. |
