Huge floor-length mirrors and plants. Hardwood floor in the waiting area and glass door enclosed bar area. Smoking in bar only where there are 2 flat screen televisions with no sound. They do have music in the background and a fireplace with some tables and chairs for dining in the bar area or for people who want to have a martini/beer while waiting for seats in the dining room. A pager system is used for people waiting for tables. The main dining room is very large with a waterfall in the back. The walls are a dark wood with red paint and vintage/artsy chandeliers around the room. They have complimentary valet parking.

The wives smoke, so the glassed-in lounge works. Service, food, drinks - all great. Funny though...wife walked into ladies room and met a cross-dresser or ?. He was dressed like a she. It was quite the topic around the bar once people realized what was going on with the ballerina that was hanging with a bad Fabio look-a-like.
Thought we were going to a quiet place in suburbia. Got lots more - great food and entertainment.
Nothing wrong with Sky. Great fun, can't wait to try the brunch...maybe some more shemales to liven up the atmosphere! |

Just went there for the first time this past week. It is a lovely looking restaurant and I would give it 4 stars for ambiance. The wait staff was very attentive and would also rate 4 stars. I was a little disappointed in the food, I had ordered one of the evening specials - a snapper - and it had trouble competing with the sauce. Very little flavor of the fish or the crabmeat filling came through.
The bread sticks were unimpressive (3 small 5 inch sticks for 2 adults) and not replenished.
The dressing on the Ceasar salad could have been a bit more tangy.
I will try Sky again and order something else. |

What a great dining experience. At last there is a place to go around here for quality food. No more driving down to Boston or Providence. |

While I really enjoy many aspects of Sky there is one notable problem. Three out of the last five times I've been there they have overcooked the food. For some dishes this isn't as noticable, however, the list of casualties include:
1 very blackened steak that was ordered as medium it came with very stiff asparagus.
1 very crispy burger.
1 rack of coal ribs. The ribs were something like Yosemite Sam when he crumbles after an explosion.
All of these were returned and reasonably promptly replaced with a smile and I've had no trouble with other dishes. Their jazz brunch is awesome and I highly recommend it. |
