I have been to this restaurant numerous times and have always enjoyed my meal. The service is usually very good and the wait is minimal.
My only criticism is the vegetables...I think there should be individual dishes and a couple more choices. All in all it is a fine dining experience |

Whenever we're in the area, it's essential that we stop by the King Philip - the "KP" as locals know it. We've never been disappointed by the food, the portions, or the staff. The menu is quite varied and the quality is excellent, served hot and usually in an adequate time. (Obviously on busy Friday and Saturday nights, the kitchen staff is hard pressed to match their Tuesday or Wednesday preparation/delivery time.) Their beef dishes are good. The prime rib is excellent, a choice of cuts and plenty of au jus. Seafood dishes account for a good portion of the menu and they are very tasty. The kids, both young and teens, always look forward to going there since they know that they will leave absolutely stuffed! The lounge is a great place to start the evening before moving to the dining room for dinner. Oh, yes .. their desserts are great too, but many times I'm too full to have one. |

A very dependable establishment. Food is consistently good, and the waiting staff aim to please. I highly recommend the prime beef and the rack of lamb, but I honestly don't feel that a customer would be disappointed with any choice made. |
