This small restaurant in Westport is open for lunch and dinner. It serves cheesesteaks almost exclusively.

I'm a pretty big fan of cheesesteaks for lunch (and sometimes dinner), and this place makes them as good as anywhere else. They're not the cheap cheesesteaks you get from "chainy" places either; these taste like they do on the east coaast.
Mike the owner is a really nice guy, too. He greets all of his customers with a smile, makes sure your food is just right, and typically throws in a little something extra to make sure you come back next time.
The only downside I see is that it can be a little pricey. A sandwich, fries, and a coke for lunch will run you almost $10.
If you're into real cheesesteaks, or stuck in KC from the East Coast, this is a place to check out. |
