A Bountiful Thanksgiving Treat Dec 11th, 2002
Jason and Drew took great care of us, making us feel at home for Thanksgiving dinner.

Drew was recently back from culinary school and the dinner was very imaginative. Accompanying either turkey or prime rib were crisp green vegetables, dressing and an incredible sweet potato/coconut milk souffle.

A work to the wise, reservations are a must!

Fantastic Place! Nov 3rd, 2002
This restaurant is truly an asset to Angel Fire! I have eaten there numerous times and have never been disappointed. You have to try the pork tenderloin! It is the best I've ever had!

After a great day of skiing there is nothing better than the Roasted Clove!

A Delightful Surprise Sep 26th, 2002
We arrived in Angel Fire in September 2002. We had driven the entire enchanted circle that day without a midday meal. Surveying the area, we were concerned that we would have to settle for hamburgers since the other obvious choices were waiting room only. Then a resident told us of The Roasted Clove nestled in the back of the building without street signage. We reluctantly decided to try it thinking we would never be admitted without reservations on Saturday night.

Wow.. were we surprised, we were welcomed at the door by warm and friendly personnel who took time to chat with us and still take care of his other duties. The food was the best we had encountered for three days. Thank you "The Roasted Clove" for surprising us and making our day. You are a "value added" to the village of Angel Fire.

Always a Wonderful Experience Sep 23rd, 2002
We have made a habit of dining at the Roasted Clove ever since it opened. The food has always been superb, the wait staff helpful without being obtrusive and the ambience comfortingly cozy.

The meal portions are more than adequate and make one wonder if they really need dessert. Believe me, the Clove's desserts are well worth losing a few Weight Watcher points over!

This establishmnet is very high on our preferred dining list and is a "must" whenever we visit Angel Fire. There's nothing like it in the Moreno Valley, so don't bother looking.

Dinner at The Roasted Clove Dec 29th, 2001
Making reservations 30 days in advance of Christmas 2001 was scary! Then two days of dinner fiascos (one in the resort and one in Red River) left us all worrying about the big day! But worry disappeared when we entered The Roasted Clove - we were met with warm smiles and hands that eased us out of our heavy coats.

We then sat to begin our anticipated dinner. We began with the Hogue Chardonnay which was delicious and then our server offered the evening fare. We each chose our favorite from the menu. The maple-pecan pork tenderloin, filet mignon and the salmon topped alfredo noodles. The word delicious is trivial when describing this food. Cooked to perfection and attended with the most scrumptious veggies! The chocolate mousse dessert was also yummy! All of this and no rush -- our server was always available but never intrusive!

Would eat there again without any questions - but not without reservations! Great food - Much success to the fine people who operate this haven in the wilderness of available dining facilities in Angel Fire!
