Best Bread Pudding Ever!	Jul 1st, 2003
Hubby and I stopped at the Alpine Inn for lunch and it was wonderful! Best of all was the Bread Pudding! HEAVENLY! Would love the recipe! It's all we've talked about since getting home from vacation!

Best Filet Mignon EVER	Jun 27th, 2002
I grew up near Hill City, SD my whole life and the Alpine Inn has the best filet mignon in the world. It is the only thing on the menu - you get a choice between a small and a large - it comes with a 1/4 head of lettuce with home made ranch style dressing. After you stuff your self on the steak, there is a wonderful assortment of desserts. I recommend the bread pudding :) You know they have delicious food because in the summertime there is about a 1-2 hour wait for dinner. I recommend getting there early (around 5, right when the open). This is definitely a small town restaurant--don't expect fine dining--but it will give you a true feel of South Dakota at it's finest.
