We stopped there on on way home from Chicago to the West Coast. We had a couple of great steaks in Chicago, but at this place was better and we could have paid the bill with ashtray change.

Have you ever seen the picture from the Ruth's Chris steakhouse advertisement in the airplane magazines? I ordered the 12 oz. top sirloin at the Cattleman's Club the other night and what I received looked almost identical to the cut of steak from that ad. Then I took a bite and it tasted even better than it looked. The prices are incredible. My steak was only $12.00. There's nothing fancy about this restaurant, although it does have a nice down-home feel with sawdust on the floors and very friendly staff. But if you're looking for the best steak value in the upper midwest, I would be surprised if you could do better than this place.
