Snobby Service and Dirty Utensils	May 6th, 2003
After a friend related the experience he had at the Midvale Black Angus Restaurant, I had to relate the my experience of nearly a year prior. I'll critique. I dinned with a party of three. We waited for almost an hour after being seated at our table before we could order. We had already waited almost an hour at the bar for our table. (We had reservations for our party in advance and arrived 10 minutes in advance of our reservation) Our utensils were dirty, so we cleaned them ourselves, in light of the slow service. Many patrons arriving after us, were served well before our party. The food arrived only slightly warm and smaller than portions than depicted on the menus. After finally complaining to the manager, we received only verbal insincere apologies, but no effort was made to compensate us for any aspect of the service. All and all, an extremely negative experience. Needless to say, we haven't been back. In light of similar reported experience of late by others, nothing has really changed.
