I remember going there for ribs a few years ago and have not been able to get better tasting ribs since. So, we saddled the motorcycle and went from Ottawa Ontario to Virginia Beach to see if my memory served me right.
If anyone knows of a place where they serve better ribs within 1,000 miles of Ottawa, let me know and I will go. As for now, Frankies still has the best ribs I ever had. |

Frankie's is a staple stop almost every visit to VA Beach. The value is unbelievable, especially with a coupon or early bird special. A typical dinner special includes 1/2 grilled chicken and nice portion of baby back ribs for $9.99....of course this includes two vegetables and very tasty corn bread fresh from the oven. A true family restaurant or even a fun night out with a date/spouse....not a romantic dining spot though. I've been fortunate to try ribs all over and this rates right up there....not the greatest in America but definately some of the best you'll ever try. "TOP 10" Spot!! |
