Outback starts with good meat and doesn't ruin it unless you asked for it more done than medium. Fresh salads with decent dressings, outstanding desserts. What more could you ask for? People who are disappointed in Outback must has have unreasonable expectations. |

I know it's a chain and is not really Auzzie but it's OK. Has nice quiet inside where you can relax for a drink after work. And, yes, the price is hight but you seem to get high quality meat and other sides in fairly large portions. The take-out is really cool. They even bring it out to your car when you drive up if you call ahead. They freely take gift certificates and their coupons without those dirty looks you usually get in the fast food joints.
The menu is big ehough that you can put together an Atkins friendly meal so we give it a thumbs up. However, for the Woodbridge area, you may as well go to Sully's for larger portions, better quality food and better service as well as a fine seafood menu |

The food was ok, I have never eaten at a resturant where everything from the bread to the salad and even the veggies were an option that you had to specify that you wanted and if you didn't as in my case you received neither. Pretty expensive steak and potato. Next time it's Montana's. |

As an Australian l was outraged that they have NOTHING that is truly Australian on the menu. After several attempts to discuss this with Head Office l was brushed off after being told that they do NOT say they serve Australian food items. But they DO portray themselves this way in using Australian accents in the radio commercial, the decor of the restaurant and the names of foods on the menu. So basically dear readers, they are making you THINK they are Australian by portraying themselves as something they are not. Please feel free to write to them via the email on the main page as l have done.
I would not ask this but as l have worked as a chef and am Australian, have offered them recipes and they still refuse to do anything OR respond l feel we have no choice. Please complain if not for us Aussies then for yourselves so that one day you may try authentic and wonderful dishes you are not currently getting or will ever try if this continues.
Regards and thanks

Well, the service is awesome and the food is as well! Our whole family loves it, even the kids! We go there all the time, reasonable prices for a steakhouse! Their steaks are the best cuts, salads and deserts are amazing! 5 Stars for me! |
