I asked in my hotel for a good place for steak and they recommended 'the Metropolitan'. The place was full and I didn't have a reservation but I could sit in the 'bar' area and order anything from the 'restaurant' area. I had the NY steak 'met cut' and it was honestly the best meat I had ever tasted. A very simple dish with mashed potatoes, but perfectly done! I've had many steaks but this was really the best ever! Great service too! |
